This marks Dennis Perera’s second full-length theatre production, crafted through the traditional Shanthikarma of Sri Lanka, blending it with a touch of contemporary experimental theatre. Notably, it stands as the pioneer Sri Lankan theatre production of its kind to grace outdoor spaces in urban and suburban settings, diverging from the conventional proscenium stage. The unique approach garnered high praise from both audiences and critics during its 2015 and 2016 run, as it captivated diverse audiences in numerous locations across Sri Lanka.

Synopsis:
During the time of the mythical King Gotaimbara, an evil spirit named Mahasona began to possess the women of the country. The influence of Mahasona gradually spread, reaching even the King’s palace. In a confrontation between the King Gotaimbara and Mahasona, the King fought and defeated the spirit. However, in a surprising turn, it appears that the King himself became possessed and victimized by Mahasona.
